Quick service. Phenomenal pastries. Wonderful atmosphere and small standing area. Must try: - raspberry almond croissant - milk bomb This place has such a cute vibe. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

Yummy little bakery we went to on a Saturday morning! Keep in mind a lot of the pastries are sweet rather than savory (they also sell cakes, cupcakes and soda bread)! The pecan sticky bun is a combo of a cinnamon roll with sticky toffee and pecans on top and is definitely worth it if you have a sweet tooth! I could only take a few bites but it was still so yummy! The scone wasn't SUPER blueberry-ey..? But I loved the crunch on the edges of the scone and I could devour this easily! It's not too sweet and hit the spot eating it while sipping on a coffee! There's no seating inside so it's a pick up and go, or if you're lucky there's two or three tables outside. The servers are super fast and nice when getting your orders!

First time at this bakery. Super sweet employees! I picked up a king cake for Mardi Gras. It was absolutely delicious and so beautiful. The neighborhood is also lovely to walk around in and I think I'm going to make this my go to bakery!

pumpkin cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, carrot cake, all the cakes are so good!! one day i'll try more but these are my favorite for bday or celebration occasions. i also love the morning buns and baguettes, one of my go-to stops while running errands in the area!

I've been going to NVB for years now. I used to go to their Noe Valley location & then switched to the west portal location when they opened. The croissants are great & so are the cakes. The bread is made fresh and is amazing as well. The one downside is to see how much the prices have gone up. Almost $7 for an almond croissant??? Insane to me. The staff is pretty friendly but I have run into some not so friendly staff members here as well. Overall 4/5. The almond croissant is my favorite.

It is often confusing explaining to someone who is not from San Francisco that this Noe Valley Bakery is not located in Noe Valley but in West Portal. This is the second location for the Noe Valley bakery and I came to try the Pumpkin Cheesecake since Pumpkin season is coming to an end. This location has a very consistent taste to the location in Noe Valley. The pumpkin cheesecake was not too cheesy or too sweet but very rich and bit savory but tasty. I also got the croissant which was buttery and savory and it had a good texture and wasn't flaky like some in SF. A good second location bakery for the sweet and savory. Although both neighborhood are different and both neighborhoods are distant But both San Francisco Noe Valley Bakery in Noe Valley and West Portal locations keep it very consistent

Omg probably one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. It's moist, chocolatey, light, delectable! Definitely making the trip to come back and try all their other sweets!

Hmmm. Where's my previous Yelp review? I've been coming off and on since they first opened this outpost. Either eating in or taking to go. Inside dining is gone now. Tuesday and Thursday is senior day. This afternoon I waited in the queue that forms by the front entrance. The must try is the tropical bombe. Yuzu coating, coconut cream, passion fruit bavarian on top vanilla chiffon cake. An afternoon treat. I also got their cherry chocolate chip bread loaf. Always a winner. They offer cake by the slice in addition to whole cakes. Another favorite is the cranberry lemon scone. Service is friendly but be patient as the goodies need to be bagged and/or boxed. There is a preorder option if you prefer.
